The Amazing Baton was designed by an instrument repairman, who wanted to create a drum major baton that was more resistant to breakage with user replaceable parts. Users can now practice without the worry of normal drops and having the expense of replacement or repair.

Q: How do I remove the rubber dome to switch over to the chrome dome for performance?
A: Follow the steps below:
- Remove the thumb screw from the top of the baton by turning it counterclockwise.
- Remove the rubber dome from the shaft.
- Remove the rubber tip from the opposite end of the shaft.
- Install the metal dome onto the shaft.
- Find a hard surface, such as a concrete floor. Hold the metal dome with one hand and gently tap the other end the baton against the floor, you might need to tap hard if it is stuck, The metal dome will slowly slide down the shaft. This is intentional and part of the design—the dome needs to fit tightly onto the shaft.
- Reinstall the thumb screw, using the split washer instead of the flat washer, reinstall the rubber tip back
- To remove the metal dome, first loosen the thumb screw by 4–5 turns. Then gently tap the thumb screw against a hard surface, such as a concrete floor. This will gradually separate the metal dome from the shaft.

The Amazing Baton must be returned in brand new condition. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Product price will be refunded upon inspection. $20 per baton restocking fee applies on all returns that are in new condition. Customers are required to agree to this policy upon checkout. Please avoid stretching the Traditional Cord or wrapping it too tightly, as this can weaken the braid and expose fibers that the dye cannot penetrate.
