About Prop 65
California’s Proposition 65 (formally the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) requires businesses with 10 or more employees to provide a clear and reasonable warning before knowingly and intentionally exposing individuals to chemicals the State of California has determined may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Our company currently employs fewer than 10 people, which means we are legally exempt from the Prop 65 warning‑label requirement and the associated civil penalties. However, we share California’s goal of helping consumers make informed choices. Accordingly, whenever a product’s manufacturer, supplier, or authorized laboratory provides a valid Proposition 65 warning, we pass that warning on to you in good faith—either on the product detail page or in the shopping cart.
If you see a “⚠︎ WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm – www.P65Warnings.ca.gov” notice on one of our product pages, it indicates that the manufacturer has reported the presence of a listed chemical above California’s “safe‑harbor” levels. For more information about specific chemicals and exposure thresholds, please visit the State of California’s official Prop 65 website at www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
We continuously monitor supplier updates and new chemical listings so that the information we provide remains current. If you have questions about a particular product, feel free to contact our customer‑service team at info@swbandprouducts.com
